Should you buy at the current price of around $83,000, or is it better to wait for a different price point? In this article, I’ll help you answer the question, “What is the best price to buy Bitcoin?” – with a focus on mid-term investment strategies.

i. Fundamental analysis

1. World money supply

The global money supply has been declining since the start of 2025. However, the overall trend has still been upward since 2022, with a recent low point in 2024.

During January 2025, the global money supply saw a slight increase, marking a new low from the end of 2024. I believe that since mid-2022, the world money supply has been on an upward trajectory, which indicates more money flowing into the economy, potentially stimulating growth and pushing other assets higher once again.

2. US 10Y Note Bond Yield

The US 10-year note bond yield has been declining since the beginning of 2025. This suggests that the US is injecting money into the economy again after years of efforts to suppress inflation.

However, a rapid drop in the 10-year bond yield doesn’t necessarily mean other assets will skyrocket due to the influx of money into the economy. In fact, it could signal underlying economic weakness after years of controlling inflation.

In the short term, we might see a “winter” across all financial assets, including stocks and cryptocurrencies, as the economy feels the initial impact of lower interest rates and bond yields after a prolonged period of deflation.

3. US Fed Funds Rate

Similarly, the Federal Reserve has been cutting its funds rate since December 2024, and this rate-cutting cycle is expected to continue until 2026.
